The Slag Dryer is designed to remove excess moisture from wet metallurgical slag before further processing or reuse. It is commonly used for steel slag, blast furnace slag, copper slag, and other mineral-based industrial residues where moisture can affect conveying, screening, grinding, and storage.
The dryer uses a rotating drum to continuously move and expose slag to the drying medium. Its configuration can be adapted to slag type, particle size, feed moisture, processing capacity, target moisture, and heat source, with wear protection and dust collection considered for abrasive materials and plant conditions.
