Project Overview
Xinyang Yunfeng Mining & Metallurgy Co., Ltd. developed a gold ore processing plant using a combined gravity separation and flotation flowsheet. The production line integrates crushing, grinding, classification, gravity separation, flotation, concentrate dewatering, water recycling, and tailings handling into one continuous processing system.
The project required equipment to work reliably across multiple interconnected process stages, particularly where grinding, slurry conditioning, gravity recovery, and flotation performance are closely related. Zhongjia Heavy Industry supplied the core mineral processing equipment and provided equipment selection, process coordination, plant layout support, installation, commissioning, and operator training to help establish a practical and maintainable production system.

Customized Mineral Processing Solution
The Xinyang Yunfeng gold processing plant was configured as an integrated crushing, grinding, gravity separation, flotation, and concentrate dewatering circuit. Run-of-mine ore is first reduced through the three-stage crushing system, with the PEF600×900 jaw crusher serving as the primary crushing equipment. The crushed ore is then processed through the MQG3200×4500 grate discharge ball mill and MQY2400×3600 overflow ball mill, with classification provided by the spiral classifier. The ground slurry is directed to the jig concentrator for gravity recovery of relatively coarse gold-bearing particles before entering the flotation preparation section.
The agitation tank plays a key role in preparing the classified slurry for flotation. Reagents are introduced and thoroughly dispersed through effective slurry mixing, providing a uniform conditioning environment before flotation. Stable agitation helps maintain consistent slurry conditions and reagent distribution, providing a reliable feed condition for the rougher flotation stage.
On-Site Performance
Following installation and commissioning, the processing line operated with stable coordination across the crushing, grinding, gravity separation, flotation, and dewatering sections. Material transfer between the main process stages remained consistent, while the grinding, classification, and slurry handling systems provided suitable feed conditions for downstream separation.
The agitation system maintained consistent slurry mixing and reagent conditioning ahead of flotation, helping provide a stable feed condition for the rougher, cleaner, and scavenger stages. The coordinated operation of the agitation and flotation sections supported stable slurry conditions throughout the separation process.
Downstream, the thickening and filtration system supported consistent concentrate dewatering, while clarified process water was returned to the production circuit. Under the established operating conditions, the equipment showed good process compatibility and stable day-to-day operation, while the site team was able to follow practical procedures for routine operation, inspection, and maintenance.
