Project Overview
The customer in Dingxi needed a local sand making production line for river pebbles and basalt, both of which require suitable crushing and shaping equipment because of their relatively high hardness. The planned capacity was 200 TPH, with the finished manufactured sand intended for nearby construction projects.
Based on the raw material and production requirements, the customer selected Zhongyi to supply the complete sand making line. The equipment and process were arranged around the available site and the required crushing, screening, and shaping stages. The original project record confirms a 200 TPH line processing river pebbles and basalt, with Zhongyi engineers providing on-site installation guidance.
Zhongyi Sand Making Production Line Solution
The customer planned to process river pebbles and basalt, two relatively hard and abrasive materials, into manufactured sand for nearby construction projects. Based on the required 200 TPH capacity and the characteristics of the feed, Zhongyi configured a process combining controlled feeding, crushing, screening, VSI shaping, and closed-loop return. The spring cone crusher handles the secondary crushing stage, while the VSI sand making machine carries out further reduction and particle shaping before the finished sand is screened.
The vibrating screen separates the material by size, with oversized particles returned to the appropriate crushing stage for further processing. This arrangement keeps the material flow continuous and provides flexibility for adjusting the crushing and screening conditions according to the actual feed and required product grading. The equipment layout was also arranged around the available site conditions to maintain a practical connection between each processing stage and leave space for routine inspection and maintenance.

After commissioning, the production line operated steadily under the project’s working conditions. The spring cone crusher, vibrating screen, and VSI sand making machine worked continuously through the configured process, with screened material moving between the crushing and shaping stages and oversized material returned for further processing.
During production, the line maintained stable material flow when processing river pebbles and basalt, while the screening stage kept the finished product within the required size range. The finished manufactured sand was supplied to nearby construction projects. Daily operation mainly involved routine checks of the crusher, screen, conveyors, and wear parts rather than frequent process interruptions.
